How we measure

Privacy

This page says what the site collects, what happens to it, and spells out the one exception in detail.

The short version

This site measures traffic without cookies and without building a profile of you. Forms you submit go to our own customer database and to a person's inbox. We don't sell or rent your information to anyone. During one 60-day ad test, we send Google a hashed, unreadable version of your email to confirm an ad worked — that's disclosed in full below.

Analytics

We use a cookieless analytics service, Plausible, to count page views, referral sources, browser type, and country. It sets no cookies, stores no personal identifiers, and can't follow you to other sites. We also count clicks on a few named buttons, like "Book the audit," in aggregate. None of it identifies you.

Forms

When you submit a form, we keep what you typed: your name, work email, company, and message. If you ask the self-check to email your result, or ask for the security PDF by email, we keep that address and the request too. Submissions land in Twenty, the customer database we run, along with the page you came from. A person reads them. We use the information to reply and to schedule — nothing else.

The ad test

For one 60-day window, we're testing Google search ads. If you arrive from one of those ads and submit a form, we send Google a hashed version of your email address. A hash is a one-way scramble; Google matches it against its own records to tell us the ad led to a real inquiry. Google doesn't get your name, company, or message from us. When the test ends, this signal stops, this section is archived and removed at the day-60 verdict, and we'll update this page.

Cookies

We set no analytics or advertising cookies — the inventory is none. If the scheduling widget on the audit page sets a functional cookie to hold your appointment, it does that job only. If the ad test ever requires a tracking cookie, we'll ask first with a banner and take no for an answer.

Who touches the data

A few services process data on our behalf: our website host, our email provider, the customer database, and the scheduler. Each holds only what its job needs. We don't sell data, share it with ad networks beyond the disclosed test signal, or use it to train anything.

Your choices

Write to us through the contact form and we'll show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Deleting means deleting — from the database and the inbox. No account is required to use anything on this site, and saying no to any of the above costs you nothing.

Who we are
