The point of it

What it does for you

We built Report Generator because sending our own agency's client reports kept eating afternoons of copy-paste: export the numbers, line up the comparisons, write it up, format it, send it. Report Generator does the whole loop. It pulls the performance data, computes the week, month, and year comparisons, writes the narrative in your voice, and publishes a secured page and a matching PDF — the same way every cycle.

The report writes itself

Most tools stop at a dashboard and leave someone to explain it. Report Generator does the interpreting — it decides which change is the headline and writes it up in plain sentences a client or an executive will actually read.

Consistent no matter who runs it

Each account's preferred metrics, tone, and sensitivities are remembered and applied on every run. Set a rule once and it holds, so the report reads the same whether you send it or someone else does.

Out the door on schedule

What used to be an afternoon of exporting and formatting is now one run anyone on the team can trigger. Each report publishes to a secured page and a PDF on the same link every cycle, and you keep a record of everything ever sent.

Built for us first

This is what we built to run our own companies. Because we built it, we can rebuild it around yours.

Strip away the marketing framing and Report Generator is one repeatable pattern: pull the data from where it lives, compare it across time, write the narrative, and publish it on brand. Pointed at a different kind of report, it becomes something else entirely — and we'd build that version around the numbers your business actually tracks.

Distribution & manufacturing

Generate the monthly operations or sales report from live numbers instead of rebuilding a deck. Units, fill rate, on-time delivery, and revenue by line arrive with month-over-month and year-over-year context and a written summary, ready for ownership.

Finance & accounting

Turn the variance review into a first draft that writes itself. Pull actuals against budget and prior period, compute the variances, and narrate the ones that matter — so the controller edits a draft instead of starting from a blank page.

Multi-location & franchise operators

Roll KPIs up across sites into one comparison and a plain-language readout. Each location lands next to the same period last year and the group average, with the outliers called out, so the regional report stops being a manual consolidation.

Agencies & professional services

Send every client their recurring performance report without the copy-paste. The engine pulls each account's channels, applies that account's metrics and tone, and publishes a secured page and a PDF. This is the version we run with our own clients.

Questions

Good to know

What does Report Generator actually produce?

A finished, on-brand report for a given account: a passcode-protected landing page and a matching PDF, built from the performance data with week-over-week, month-over-month, and year-over-year comparisons and a written narrative around the numbers.

How is this different from a dashboard?

A dashboard shows numbers and leaves the reader to interpret them. Report Generator does the interpreting — it computes the comparisons, decides which change is the headline, and writes it up in plain language on a branded page. It produces the report you would have written, not a chart someone still has to explain.

Can it report on something other than marketing channels?

Yes. Marketing was the first build, but the engine doesn't care about the source. The same pattern — connect to where the data lives, compute the comparisons, write the narrative, publish on brand — applies to operations reports, finance variance narratives, and multi-location KPI roll-ups. The platforms it reads from change; the steps don't.
