A custom build makes sense when the work is specific enough that no product fits it, valuable enough that doing it by hand costs real money, and rule-bound enough that a tool can do most of it. If those three are true, a build usually pays for itself.
If they are not, the audit will say so. We would rather tell you to buy a product or leave a process alone than sell a build that will not earn its keep.

You keep it. We hand it over with training, and there is no per-seat rent and no proprietary platform in the middle. The tool calls an AI model to do the reading, that usage is metered like any cloud service, and we put the monthly number in writing before we start.

The closest thing we have to a brochure is the rebate-and-margin tool we built inside Kelsan, a multi-state distributor in our own group. It reads the rebate terms in the distributor’s contracts and checks every line item against them, every day, inside its Epicor P21 ERP. It has surfaced the margin the manual rebate check was missing.
It is one of the production systems we built and run across our own operating companies, by a team of two or three. Every one started as a custom build for a chore we were alone in having.
